Payment must be made in advance. An officer will contact you to arrange a visit.
- Rats and mice - £10 (this charge does not apply for council tenants as pest control for mice and rats is included in the rent)
- Insects - £70.20
Important - wasps
A lot of calls we get about wasps turn out to be calls for bees. As bees are very important to the environment we don’t remove these insects.
It is often difficult to tell the difference between bees and wasps so please read our advice section.
Please note where a visit has been made, no refunds are possible.
Important - rodents
The Prevention of Damage by Pests Act places a duty on occupiers and owners of land and property to get rid of rats.
The owner or occupier can choose to use a contractor or the council to deal with the problem. If the council is made aware of a rodent problem and no action is taken, then the council must act to get rid of them.
