What is Extra Care Housing?
There are a range of properties within our Extra Care Housing. They offer affordable housing for anyone aged 50+ with a care need. With the added peace of mind that on-site care services are available at varying levels.
You have an apartment with your own front door, where you manage your own tenancy. Any extra care needs are assessed and met by the care team on site. We can help with personal care, medication, support with preparing your meals. We can also assist with shopping and housework such as laundry tasks.
Contact the Adult Social Care on 01325406111and speak to the intake team. You will need to request a Social Care assessment where an appointment will be made. The social worker will submit the forms, if you are accepted onto the waiting list we will write to confirm this.
Please note all tenants at Extra Care Schemes are expected to receive their care from the in-house care team.

What if I am not satisfied with the response?
We hope that we can work together with our residents and listen to their voices and resolve any problems, but if you are unhappy with the response from the Housing team we have a complaints procedure you can follow and you can contact our Complaints Team by:
