Gambling has changed in recent years

Traditional methods of gambling like betting shops are being replaced by online gambling.

The Council recognises we have a role to play in minimizing the harmful effects of gambling.

The Gambling Commission [external link] regulates online gambling.

We will introduce a revised gambling policy in January 2022. We review the policy every three years.

There are few changes as there have been no legislative changes in the last three years.
