Day Opportunities Survey
Healthwatch Darlington are completing a survey for Darlington Borough Council in relation to peoples’ experiences of Day Opportunities.
A letter has been sent to all individuals currently accessing DBC funded Day Opportunities and to their family carers. We are also publicising the survey more widely to seek the views of those not currently accessing Day Opportunities.
The survey is to help understand the experience of people who use, or may use, Day Opportunities and the impact this has on both the individual and their carers.
What Are Day Opportunities?
Day Opportunities provide support and activities for adults during the day or evening.
They include things like:
- Learning new skills (like cooking or using a computer)
- Social activities (like games, arts and crafts)
- Exercise classes
- Help with personal care (like washing and dressing)
