Hi! I am Paul

I’m an artist and a writer – I say I do stuff with words. I work with them in lots of different ways: I’m an author, a poet, a spoken word performer, a theatre and film maker, and a maker of paper things.

I live in Darlington with my rescue dog, Harper Lee, who has shorter legs at the front so she’s always going downhill! I love the sea and rivers, reading, doodling, writing stories and making things from paper.

I also love meeting new people and helping them do stuff with words too.

I am a visual artist and explorer! I live in Stockton-on-Tees - just off the Tees actually, I have ducks and swans for neighbours!

I love creating and being playful. I love meeting new people and sharing stories and ideas. A few of my favourite things are vintage suitcases, notebooks, my pen collection (so many pens!) and walking shoes!

By taking part in the All About Me Creative Experiences with me you will be invited to make cork journals, prints and various objects and it will all come together in your very own Cabinet of Curiosities!

What will we do together in our All About Me Creative Experience sessions?

We will be thinking about things such as:

• Who are you?
• What are your favourite things?
• How do you feel?
• Who is in your life?
• Who do you live with?
• What plans do you have for the future?

We will be exploring these themes together. These sessions are all to do with things that are important to you.

You will have the opportunity to make your very own 'Cabinet of Curiosities' that explores who you are and all the things you like. We will play games, explore and create in the sessions together.

There will be other children too, as well as your trusted adult, who you can share your ideas with. You can make, create, explore, and share as much or as little as you like.

I am really looking forward to meeting you and learning more about you and your ideas.

My sessions will be suitable for children and young people aged 5-10, 11-13 or 14-17.
