European Parliamentary Election - 2014 and 2009
European Parliamentary elections take place every five years.
Darlington is part of the North-East Region, and there are three Members of the European Parliament (MEPs) for this region. The North East electoral region also includes Durham, Hartlepool, Middlesbrough, Northumberland, Redcar and Cleveland, Stockton-on-Tees and Tyne and Wear.
2014 European election
Elections were held on Thursday 22 May 2014. The results were counted and announced on Sunday 25 May 2014.
