Help and advice is available in Darlington to anyone, of any age, who is concerned about drug or alcohol use.

From 1 April 2020 the Young People’s Substance Misuse Treatment and Recovery Service (SWITCH) that is currently provided by NECA is transferring into Darlington Borough Council.
If you need help or support please ring 01325 406222 to be directed to the correct option.
If you are currently engaged with the Service you will still receive support from your Case Worker in the same way but they will be employed by the Council, as the Service will form part of the Children’s Front Door Service. Your Case Worker will be in touch with you soon, in the meantime if you have any queries please ring 01325 406222 to be directed to the correct option.
