To let us know about a homeless person/rough sleeper outside of office hours, call01642 524552.The team will provide advice for rough sleepers who want accommodation.
It may be tempting to give money to someone who appears to be homeless or sleeping rough. Instead, please consider making a donation to a homelessness charity. You can also buy a copy of The Big Issue which will support people who are homeless or sleeping rough.
If you come across someone who is unwell, unresponsive, or distressed, please call 999.
We provide extra provisions for rough sleepers during severe weather. This is regardless of their status as the usual guidelines no longer apply.
We work with local organisations and housing providers to make extra accommodation available. Extra accommodation becomes available by working with local organisations and housing providers.
