Driving a fully equiped mobile workshop, you will be responsible for the removal of graffiti and chewing gum and various other activities involving the use of a pressure wash. You will assist with painting/varnishing and minor repairs to bollards, posts, pavements, street furniture and other assets belonging to the Council. You will also undertake general duties to improve the quality of streets in residential areas including the collection of litter and fly tipping.
The successful candidate will need a full driving licence, one years experience of working in a street scene environment or related field, knowledge of street care activities and an awareness of health and safety procedures. You will be adaptable and able to learn new skills, have the ability to prioritise and work under pressure and well as the ability to work on your own initiative.
