Darlington Pride 2022
Darlington Pride is returning for it's annual celebration for 2022. This is a week-long celebration for everyone to enjoy of Darlington’s LGBT+ community and there will be lots of amazing events for you to attend. Click to see the event leaflets.
MonGay Pride - Mon 8 August - 5pm - late
Darlington’s long established Gay Pride night in locals bars and pubs, including special guests and drag show performances. Held in Blackwellgate and town centre venues. Find out more about MonGay here.
Pride Crafts - Tues 9 August & Thurs 11 August - 2pm – 5pm
Pride crafts in the Market Square – make an accessory to bring along to the march.
Opening the Closet Doors - Thurs 11 August - 7:30pm
Screening of Opening the Closet Doors at the Darlington Hippodrome. A brand new film made by local LGBTQ+ people in response to the LGBTQ+ themes, histories, stories and inspirations contained in the Darlington Hippodrome archive. Find out more here.
Pride Festival - Sat 13 August - 12noon - 6pm
Celebrating our LGBTQI+ community in the Market Square with live music, main stage, screen, information stalls, speeches, dance performances, kids activities, street theatre and more. The Pride March will leave the Market Square at 12noon, head up through Horsemarket, on to High Row, then loop around Bondgate, Skinnergate and Blackwellgate. To find out more, please click here.
Pride Picnic - Sun 14 August - 12noon - 3pm
