Work starts at Carlbury landslip

Repairs are due to start at Carlbury landslip next week. The work will focus on a 25-metre section of the slope on the A67 road at Low Carlbury, between Darlington and Barnard Castle.

Esh Construction have been appointed to carry out the work which will take around two months to complete.

The road will be open throughout, with the works being undertaken within the existing area where temporary traffic lights are currently in place.
