Highway maintenance works at Burtree Lane

Road works are being carried out at Burtree Lane starting on Monday 12 August, resulting in the following temporary closures

Phase 1: Monday 12 to Wednesday 14. From the junction with Whessoe Road, southwards to the east side of Trevone Way junction.

Phase 2: Thursday 15th and Friday 16. From the junction with North Road, northwards to the east side of Trevone Way junction.

Only one section will be closed at a time. An alternative route will be signed via North Road, Whessoe Road and vice versa

Access will be maintained to local residents and businesses throughout the works.

Public Transport

From Monday 12 August until Wednesday 14 August (Burtree Lane closed after Princess Road): Arriva service 3A will omit Harrowgate Farm. Passengers should walk to the nearest bus stop on Princess Road.

From Thursday 15 August to Friday 16 August (Burtree Lane closed from A167): During this time, Arriva service 3A will omit Harrowgate Farm and Harrowgate Hill terminus.  Service 3A will operate from Longfield Road, into Alwyn Road, Melrose Avenue, Marina Road, regaining the normal route from Princess Road.
