Discover new favourites with the Darlington Restaurant Trail
Explore the world’s finest cuisines, all without leaving Darlington, and take part in the town’s first ever Resturant Trail.
From Italian to Indian, Syrian to Spanish, there’s something for everyone to enjoy in the wide variety of restaurants and pubs to be found across the town centre.
The Restaurant Trail, supported by Darlington Borough Council through Enjoy Darlington, encourages people to try hidden gems and return to old favourites as a way of supporting the town’s restaurant trade.
A list of all the restaurants and eateries available can be found at www.enjoydarlington.co.uk/restaurant-trail - from street food in the indoor market to sit down meals in the Imperial Quarter.
The page includes a town map and a link to enter a competition – eat at four different places taking part in the trail in a month, take photos of your receipts as proof and enter for a chance to win a £50 voucher.
Councillor Jonathan Dulston, leader of the council, said: “We have an amazing variety of restaurants in Darlington, many of them independent, and all of them vital to the vibrancy of the town centre and the local economy.
“As a council we’re always looking at ways to support our businesses and this is a simple way to show people what’s on offer and to encourage them to perhaps try somewhere new or return to somewhere they’ve previously enjoyed.”
All details about the competition and how to enter are available at www.enjoydarlington.co.uk/restaurant-trail
