Dolphin Centre Gym re-opens after refresh
12 April 2017

GYM users at the Dolphin Centre are spoilt for choice after it re-opened following a four-day closure for refurbishment.

The popular town centre gym now boasts a fresh new colour scheme, but the biggest change customers will notice is the new cutting edge Technogym equipment.

As well as updated treadmills, bikes and cross-trainers with better-than-ever connectivity, gym users will also notice new pieces of equipment like the two step machines, as well as the SkillMill and Omnia Frames, both of which provide a variety of workout options.

Gym manager Darren Cole said: “We’ve had a full redecorate and every piece of cardiovascular equipment has been replaced with the latest technology from Technogym.

“It has been a whirlwind few days getting everything ready, and we’ve had a team from Technogym in to give myself and the staff all the training we need on the new equipment so we’re able to give gym users the best advice possible.

“The feedback has been great so far, everyone has had great things to say about the new equipment, so we’re really pleased with how it’s gone.”

As well as being on hand to offer tips on safety and technique, gym instructors also run four 20-minute Energy Blast sessions every day – at 7.30am, 10am, 1pm and 6pm. Darren says these sessions are ideal for people short of time.
