Roadworks to take place in town centre and Hurworth next week
The following roadworks are due to take place in Darlington next week:
Town centre resurfacing works
A number of roads in Darlington town centre will be closed overnight for six nights for essential resurfacing works.
The closures will take place from midnight on Sunday 3 September until 6am on Monday 4 September and then between 7pm and 6am for the next 5 nights.
The roads to be closed or restricted are as follows:
Tubwell Row Closed from its junction with Church Row eastwards to its end
Crown Street Closed from its junction with Tubwell Row northwards to its junction with
Priestgate
Stonebridge Closed entirely to traffic
Church Row Closed one way from Tubwell Row junction southwards to its end
Feethams Closed one way from Church Row southwards to the Beaumont Street junction
A signed diversion route will be in place for HGVs only.
Neasham Road, Hurworth Moor
Neasham Road will be closed for resurfacing works from Monday 4 September until Thursday 7 September inclusive, for 24 hours a day.
The road will be closed to through traffic from the Strait Lane junction southwards to Hurworth Road/Teesway.
A diversion will be in place via Roundhill Road and through Hurworth village.
Access will be maintained to businesses and residents along Neasham Road.
