Domestic abuse
Domestic abuse is still a largely hidden crime and sadly happens in all communities.
We recognise the harm domestic abuse can cause our tenants, communities and homes. We play an important role in helping to tackle domestic abuse and are well placed to recognise the signs of domestic abuse, and to support victims and survivors.
We work closely with partner agencies such as local domestic abuse services, Police and Social Services to help tackle it and prevent it.
We do not accept any form of domestic abuse in any of our homes and we encourage anyone experiencing domestic abuse to get help and support.
To find out more about how we can help to prevent and tackle domestic abuse please see our policy [pdf document] and useful leaflet [pdf document].
