This is an exciting opportunity to join the Housing Services team as a Housing Performance & Compliance Officer. You will lead on research, analytical and statistical information to support policy & strategy development and the performance of Housing Services.
You will be required to extract management information reports from IT systems for the provision of national and local Housing performance indicators, undertaking research, analysis and benchmarking to validate data quality and identify best practice, including the development of new systems, processes and promoting digital services.
You will be required to advise on the development of the Council’s approach to data analysis and on the need for change as necessary, and to liaise with managers in relation to the collection, layering and analysis of data and provide analysis that supports the policy function.
You must be confident with the use of IT and capable of navigating through MS Office, including Word and Excel. Experience of producing comprehensive and concise written reports, including high quality performance reports is also important.
You must be reliable and self-motivated, with the ability to work under pressure, plan, prioritise and organise own workload, establish priorities and to plan tasks, all with minimum supervision and to strict and sometimes conflicting deadlines.
You must have the ability to supervise and lead staff, including giving motivation, advice, guidance and managing performance development.
