As a Kitchen Porter at the Dolphin Centre, you will thrive in a very busy environment. As part of the back of house team, you will assist with the receipt and storage of goods, wash up, assist with basic food preparation, complete general cleaning and hygiene duties ensuring excellent 5* food hygiene is given the highest priority.

As part of the Kitchen Porter role, you will also deliver food from the kitchen to customers and assist with clearing tables where possible. We are looking to attract people who are passionate about providing outstanding customer service with an enthusiasm to deliver business performance and who will be proud to be part of this very successful team. An individual with a positive attitude and the flexibility to cope with the demands of a very busy and varied kitchen.

The 14-hour contracts will be made up of 3 shifts per week. The kitchen porter team work on a 3-week rotation, however applicants will need to be available to fulfill their contracted hours anytime between the hours of 9.30am and 8pm Monday to Saturday and 9.30-7pm on Sundays as shifts may be changed to suit the needs of the business and for annual leave cover. These are our usual opening times, however when we have events on, these times will be extended, and you may be asked to work later.
