The response team is based at our Town Hall office and the integral duties of a Lifeline Response officer are demonstration, installation and monitoring of various technology and the responding to any emergency calls as necessary. Our officers must be able to think dynamically, in a fast paced and busy environment.
You will be confident in the use of databases and Microsoft office packages with a good understanding of GDPR to meet with the administrative duties of the role.
You will need to be approachable with a 'can do' attitude and amongst other valuable skills, be sociable, flexible, have the ability to communicate effectively and with compassion to our clients.
It would be an advantage to have a strong background of working in a customer facing role with experience of older and more vulnerable people.
The current shifts that we have available are:
- Monday backshift 15:30 to 21:30 (6 hours)
- Tuesday backshift 15:30 to 21:30 (6 hours)
- Wednesday backshift 15:30 to 21.30 (6 hours)
- Thursday backshift 15:30 to 21:30 (6 hours)
- Friday backshift 15:30 to 21:30 (6 hours)
- Friday nightshift 21:15 to 07:45 (10 hours)
- Every Saturday and Sunday day shift 07:30-15:45, or the option of alternate Saturday and Sunday day shift 07:30-15:45
- Saturday nightshift 21:15 to 07:45 (10 hours)
- Sunday nightshift 21:15 to 07:45 (10 hours)
We are looking for candidates that would be willing to work the above shifts and we are open to discussing a shift pattern that works for our service and each successful applicant including the option of casual contracts.
