Darlington Society of Arts
We are a friendly group of people who love art – be it watercolour, oil, acrylic, pastel, pencil, pen & ink, watercolour inks, alcohol inks – different crafts like lino printing and book binding – in fact we try anything – and are always open to suggestions. There is no formal teaching; we learn from each other and alternate club nights usually has a visiting artist to demonstrate their techniques with the opportunity to have a go. Becoming a member also gives you the opportunity to exhibit your work in our annual exhibitions at The Gallery, Darlington Public Library and The Station, Richmond. During the Station exhibition, prizes and trophies are awarded in various categories plus the public can vote for their favourite exhibit!
