Risk description
The product has been assessed as presenting a serious risk of entrapment between the heated plates to the user. While the user instructions state that the hand should not be placed inside the machine, it is reasonably foreseeable that the machine will be used in this way. Promotional material for the machine, produced by the manufacturer, shows the machine in use with the user's hand inside the machine to insert and remove the dough. The product does not meet the requirements of the Supply of Machinery (Safety) Regulations 2008.
