2022.04.06 Recall: Ferrero - Kinder - Surprise / Mini Eggs / Egg Hunt Kit / Schokobons

The following notice has been issued by the Food Standards Agency

Ferrero is extending their precautionary action of recalling additional Kinder products because they might be contaminated with Salmonella. This is an update to include additional Kinder products and best before dates.

Kinder Surprise
Pack size: 20 g and 20 g x 3
Best-before dates: all dates up to and including 07 October 2022

Kinder Surprise
Pack size: 100 g
Best-before dates: all dates from 20 April 2022 up to and including 21 August 2022

Kinder Mini Eggs
Pack size: 75 g
Best-before dates: all dates from 20 April 2022 up to and including 21 August 2022

Kinder Egg Hunt Kit
Pack size: 150 g
Best-before dates: all dates from 20 April 2022 up to and including 21 August 2022

Kinder Schokobons
Pack size: 200 g
Best-before dates: all dates from 20 April 2022 up to and including 21 August 2022

Risk statement
The possible presence of Salmonella in the products listed above. Symptoms caused by Salmonella usually include fever, diarrhoea and abdominal cramps.

Action taken by the company
Ferrero is recalling the above products. Point of sale notices will be displayed in retail stores that are selling these products. These notices explain to customers why the products are being recalled and tell them what to do if they have bought the products. Please see the attached notice.
