An LED bulb designed for use in a power outage
Hazard
The product presents a high risk of electric shock as the base and cover on the bulb can be separated without tools to give access to live parts. If the user were to place the bulb into a light socket, and the cap of the light were to come off, the bulb inside would be live and exposed. If the user were to touch this, they would receive an electric shock. Some of the required documentation and markings were not present.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016.
Corrective action
The import has been rejected at the border.
