Garden tidy scheme

The council housing team cut the grass six times a year for the people in council and sheltered housing who can't look after their own gardens. We will trim hedges once each year October - March.

This is a free service to eligible council tenants.

You may be eligible for the scheme if:

• you are not able to look after your own garden
• you are of pension age or get higher rate disability living allowance (DLA)
• you do not have anyone under the age of 60 (or able bodied) living with you
