Rise Carr is located in the North West of Darlington. Its approximately 2km form the town centre with local eateries  and a large array of shops nearby including a supermarket.  A large park surrounds the area.

Local primary and secondary schools are within walking distance with Harrowgate Hill primary school and Longfield Academy within a kilometre.

Longfield Academy [external link] is recognised as a specialist on the national stage. Millions of pounds have been invested in providing pupils and the local community, with stunning to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Facilities include a fitness suite, swimming pool, sports hall, floodlit 3G pitch, grass pitches and floodlit tennis and netball courts.

Fun Fact

Rise Carr was the birthplace of Manchester United legend Charlie Roberts. Charlie was Manchester United’s first England International and was born in Darlington in 1883.
