Albert Hill

Albert Hill is a popular and lively estate located close to the centre of Darlington. It is within a mile of a shopping centre with a variety of supermarkets and eateries and a short walk from the town centre with further amenities available.

Albert Hill is also a stone's throw from Rockwell Local Nature Reserve which offers walking and cycling routes and connects the heart of the town with the countryside along a restored section of the River Skerne and provides a vital and relaxing place for wildlife.

The majority of the properties available at Albert Hill are one bedroom flats and are perfect for anyone looking for single occupancy.

Fun Fact

In 1851 Albert Hill’s population numbered just 12 people, made up of Anthony Hall the farmer at Nestfield Farm, his family and servants. By 1861 there were 523 residents and this leaped to 3,067 in 1871 which then represented about 11% of Darlington’s population
