Lascelles

Lascelles Park is a large estate located in the East of Darlington. It is an attractive place for families to live with 3 primary schools all being within walking distance.

At the heart of Lascelles is Eastbourne Park which has Eastbourne Community Hub operating from its community centre building. Launched in 2018 the hub has been refurbished from the old bowling pavilion and is run by volunteers who care about where they live and want to make a difference to its residents. It delivers services to local people including a café, lunch club, coffee mornings, and seasonal activities.

Eastbourne Park provides an ideal start and end place for local walking and cycling routes and has a popular dog walking community using the park as well as a play park used by children of all ages.

Local shops, eateries, and supermarkets are all close by.

Lascelles is situated approximately 2 kilometres from Darlington town centre with a regular bus service available as well as excellent transport links including the A1M, East Coast Mainline, and Durham Tees Valley Airport.

As well as a good selection of family housing one of our extra care properties is situated in the Lascelles area.

Rosemary Court

Rosemary Court is one of our range of properties within our Extra Care Housing. It offers affordable housing for anyone aged 55+ with a care need. It offers an apartment with a front door, where tenancies are managed with extra care needs assessed and met by the on-site care team. There are large communal areas with a busy activity programme. There is also a relaxed dining area where tenants can get a lunchtime meal and guests are welcome to dine for a small charge.

Our schemes centre on community living with a warm and welcoming feel. The varied activities can help you maintain a healthy and independent life. All 55+ housing also comes with the Lifeline service giving you extra peace of mind. For more information please click on the link : 55+ Housing. [external link]
