The product is a lithium battery charger intended for an electric balance scooter.

Hazard
The product presents a high risk of fire as the plug does not meet the dimensional requirements of the relevant standard. If the plug is forced into the socket with use, as a result of the incorrect plug size, it could cause damage to the socket and the plug to overheat and ignite. Additionally, internal components were insecurely fixed to their respective terminals, with no barriers to prevent detached wires from reducing creepage distances and clearances to levels below the minimum required.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016 or the Plugs & Sockets (Safety) Regulations 1994.
Corrective action
The import has been rejected at the border.
