The product presents a high risk of fire as the plug provided with the product did not have an adequate fuse. Under fault conditions, the product would not have a fuse to protect it from overheating and igniting, causing a fire.
The products do not meet the requirements of the Supply of Machinery (Safety) Regulations 2008 or the Plugs & Sockets (Safety) Regulations 1994.
Corrective action
The import has been rejected at the border.
