Product description
A 10 ml bottle of 100% Bergamot organic pure essential oil. Blue and white label with black lid
Hazard
The product presents a serious chemical risk as testing identified four fragrance allergens, none of which had the additional required warnings on the labelling. Any consumer using the product with a sensitivity or allergy to the fragrances would not be aware. This could result in a consumer receiving an allergic reaction.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Classification, Labelling and Packaging of Chemicals (CLP) Regulations 2015 or the General Product Safety Regulations 2005.
Corrective action
Products from the affected batch have been withdrawn from the market, and labelling deficiencies addressed.
