Product description
A large rectangular cooler on wheels with an extendable handle. The word 'IGLOO' is printed on the side. The product is available in multiple body and lid colour combinations.
Manufacturing period of affected products
Products manufactured between August 2018 and December 2023 are included in the corrective action.
Date codes
Consumers are advised to check the date code, located on the bottom of the product. The date code in the example image (please see PDF attachment below) is October 2023 - the arrow pointing to "10" represents October and the number "23" indicates 2023.
Hazard
The tow handle can pinch consumers' fingers against the cooler, posing a crushing hazard and potential risk of fingertip amputation.
The product does not meet the requirements of the General Product Safety Regulations 2005.
Corrective action
Consumers in possession of a cooler manufactured between August 2018 and December 2023 should stop using the product immediately and contact their place of purchase to request a replacement tow handle kit.
