Hazard
The product presents a serious risk of electric shock because the user can easily access the internal live parts. These parts include poor-quality connections with wires soldered directly to the PCB. If the product is plugged into the mains power supply, the user could receive an electric shock. In addition, the plug supplied with the product does not meet labelling requirements and is fitted with a counterfeit fuse.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016 or the Plugs & Sockets etc. (Safety) Regulations 1994.
Corrective action
The listing has been removed from the online marketplace (eBay).
