The Community Art Project was able to re-open at The Bridge on November 2 2020 and we have been operating since then albeit with reduced numbers of service users. We hope to be to increase our numbers soon as Covid restrictions are eased.

We were able to display a selection of work in the Darlington Building Society branch on Tubwell Row 26 March – 27 May 2021

The exhibition at Phoenix Gallery, Brighton has now been rescheduled for April 2022 and will include a large selection of work by Alan Payler (the ‘reward’ for winning the first prize at the Environments exhibition in London in 2019) as well as a curated selection of other artworks by CAP artists.

Matthew Beadon has five of his drawings displayed in the prestigious Euward 8 exhibition in the Haus der Kunst gallery in Munich after being selected earlier this year from over three hundred applicants based all over Europe. The exhibition which opened on 30/04/2021 has now been extended until 15/08/2021
