'I’ve worked with my housing officer Mrs Donna Adams for 3 years now, I was in a bad place and she has helped house me and has been very helpful every step of the way, I am now much happier and in a better place, Donna’s help has contributed to this in a great way. Thank you!'

Tenant from Cockerton

'Donna has helped me move to a smaller home which I can manage. If Housing Plus had not been in place I would have been evicted, I wouldn’t be where I am now if it wasn’t for Housing Plus. I find Donna pleasant, friendly, and helpful.
I like the Housing Plus service. I like having 1 to 1 contact. My issues get solved quicker. Without Housing Plus I think I might have struggled to maintain my rent and have lost my tenancy. I have found the service invaluable, Naomi has been such a help.'

Tenant from Branksome.

'Thank you for all your support and help you've given me you've made my life so much easier, so grateful.'

Tenant from North Road area.

'Thank you for your support for helping me with filling forms and everything else, people don't realise how hard it is for me, I can get so anxious, crying, depressed knowing I cannot do these things so I can't thank you enough for your support.'

Tenant from Bank Top area

'I would like to personally thank Darlington Borough Council for their ability to find a home so efficiently and effectively in my families time of need. I would like to say that I have found great comfort in the home I currently live in and I have thoroughly enjoyed the patience of the team when I am not able to work and able to pay my full rent. I would like to say thank you for the softness of the team, empathy and understanding that I have received, by many of the team members including housing plus. I am so very grateful for this home and I do hope that when I eventually leave this home, you will know someone who lived there really loved it and took care of it.'

Tenant from Red Hall

Donna has been very helpful and supportive with my family. She has helped me with my housing situation. I've had some rent arrears to clear and she advised me how to get this rectified and sorted. She helped me with any issues that was outstanding. Thank you for everything.
