Who do you keep information about?
We keep information about people who apply for tickets for the free firework display in Central Park on 05/11/2022.
Why do you keep information about me?
We keep the information to enable the Council to issue tickets for the free firework display, contact you in the event the display is cancelled and to provide disabled transport.
The lawful basis we are relying upon to process your personal data is UK GDPR Article 6:
Processing is necessary for the performance of a contract with the data subject or to take steps to enter into a contract.
The lawful basis we are relying upon to process your special category personal data is UK GDPR Article 9:
Processing is necessary for reasons of substantial public interest on the basis of domestic law which is proportionate to the aim pursued and which contains appropriate safeguards.
The legal gateway for this processing is the public sector equality duty under the Equalities Act 2010
If you do not provide the information, we may not be able to provide you with a ticket and/or transport.
Who can see my information?
The Events Team, Web Team and Transport Team (in relation to provision of disabled transport) may be able to see your information.
Firthmoor Community Centre staff will be able to see your information if you make your booking via Firthmoor Community Centre.
How do you store the information you keep about me?
Your information will be entered into an e-form and stored securely on the Council’s servers which are ISO27001 certified.
How long do you keep information about me?
We will retain this data for 1 month.
This information is destroyed securely when we no longer need it.
How did the Council get my personal data?
The Council got your data from you or the person booking the ticket/arranging transport on your behalf.
What sort of information do you keep?
We may use the following information about you to make sure that we provide you with the right service, advice or support.
We will only use the minimum amount of information necessary to do so and will take every reasonable step to ensure the information is accurate.
Personal data:
- Name
- Proof of address (although not held)
- Email address
- Phone number
Special categories of personal data:
- Data concerning health - type of wheelchair
