Who do you keep information about?
We keep information about NQTs completing their induction with Darlington Borough Council, acting in our capacity as the Appropriate Body.
Why do you keep information about me?
To enable Darlington Borough Council, acting as the Appropriate Body, to register NQTs for induction with the Teaching Regulation Agency. We also track the NQT’s progress throughout the induction period.
Who can see my information?
The Darlington Borough Council NQT Induction Team, the Teaching Regulation Agency and other Appropriate Bodies if the NQT leaves Darlington before completing their induction period.
How do you store the information you keep about me?
Information is held electronically in a folder which can only be accessed by the NQT Induction Team. Information in paper format is securely stored in a locked filing cabinet.
How long do you keep information about me?
Information is held for 6 years. This information is destroyed securely when we no longer need it.
How did the Council get my personal data?
The information is collated from the NQT registration form which is completed and submitted by the NQT’s school.
What sort of information do you keep?
We may use the following information about you to make sure that we provide you with the right service, advice or support.
- Identification number
- Online identifier
- One or more factors specific to the:-
- physical identity of that natural person
- economic identify of that natural person
